STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY with Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian American People
We at Greater Good LLC envision a better world, where each person is valued for that person’s gifts, contributions and humanity. We are deeply disturbed by the racial disparities and discrimination we see in our society and the systemic racism embedded in our housing, criminal justice, healthcare, educational and other “systems”.
In order to combat native invisibility and racism, dismantle white supremacy, and advance racial justice, we dedicate ourselves to the following:
-
-
To learn about and honor the distinct histories of Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian American communities, and endeavor to detect the dominant and inaccurate historical narratives in our society which perpetuate systemic racism;
-
To examine how Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian American communities are differently situated and adversely impacted by inequitable and discriminatory public and private policies, and to advocate for equity.
-
To continue to build authentic relationships and connections with Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian American-led organizations and communities;
-
To develop an awareness of the ways that discrimination against members of the Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian American communities intersects with other forms of discrimination, including without limitation, discrimination against and abuse of women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, the elderly, and folks who are low income or differently abled;
-
To honor and respect the diversity of culture, experience and knowledge of Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian American individuals and communities, and to celebrate the resilience, grace, beauty and joy of such individuals and communities.
-
Lastly, we commit ourselves to taking action as allies and advocates to improve racial justice in our community with dedication, energy and compassion over the long-haul.

We seek to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws related to discrimination.
All of the undersigned, as individuals, acknowledge that our white privilege has insulated us from race-based discrimination. We have much to learn and much to gain. We invite you to join us on this personal and collective journey toward a more just community.
